Responsibilities:  Our practice areas include litigation and general legal practice representing businesses, individuals, insurance companies, fire departments and school districts. The job will include representing clients in court and before government agencies, drafting motions, pleadings and briefs, consulting with clients, witnesses and professionals, managing the case load and working closely with the other attorneys and staff in a team environment.

Schedule:  The position is full time with flexible working hours. Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

Requirements:  Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in Indiana State courts and qualified for or admitted to Southern District of Indiana. Five years’ experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Some in-state travel and occasional out of state travel as necessary. Most work is performed in a professional office setting and may require sitting for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:  Superior oral and written communication skills, able to interact effectively and professionally with staff and clients, able to prioritize and meet deadlines, organized, analytical ability and problem solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy and computer skills.
