Executive Assistant

Job Responsibilities

  • General administrative and legal support
  • Answer phones
  • Greet clients and visitors
  • Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitor incoming documents for deadlines and other necessary actions
  • Manage schedules and calendars
  • Draft correspondence
  • Manage and maintain all client files
  • Daily errands
  • Research and special projects as assigned

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Education

  • High school diploma required
  • Preference given for Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

Experience

  • Prior administrative experience required
  • Ability to accurately type 50 WPM

  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Able to determine priorities and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Highly organized
  • Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and WordPerfect

Physical Requirements

  • Quiet, professional office environment
  • Sits for extended periods of time
  • Walking downtown to perform various errands
  • Driving to the post office daily
  • Occasional lifting of file boxes
