Executive Assistant
Job Responsibilities
- General administrative and legal support
- Answer phones
- Greet clients and visitors
- Handle daily incoming and outgoing mail
- Monitor incoming documents for deadlines and other necessary actions
- Manage schedules and calendars
- Draft correspondence
- Manage and maintain all client files
- Daily errands
- Research and special projects as assigned
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Education
- High school diploma required
- Preference given for Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Experience
- Prior administrative experience required
- Ability to accurately type 50 WPM

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Able to interact effectively and professionally with and for others
- Consistent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
- Able to handle sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Able to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
- Adaptable to change
- Willingness to assume responsibility
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Able to determine priorities and manage multiple responsibilities
- Highly organized
- Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and WordPerfect
Physical Requirements
- Quiet, professional office environment
- Sits for extended periods of time
- Walking downtown to perform various errands
- Driving to the post office daily
- Occasional lifting of file boxes
